OrangutanEnglish.com is a website which helps teachers living in Japan find language students in Japan looking for language lessons. We also run OrangutanJapan.com which helps students find teachers. We don't offer teachers contracts and we can't help teachers obtain working visas for Japan. Simply we invite teachers already based in Japan to post their teaching profile on our site and if students like the teacher profile and they want a lesson, the student can contact the teacher with view to taking a lesson.

We're a small company which has been running since 2006 and are currently based partly in the U.K. and partly in the U.S.

We are not responsible for any relationship or happening which may develop between a teacher and a student who contacted them through this website. Orangutan English reserves the right to remove teachers from our website at our own discretion.
